I want to buy a good cookware set but don’t know the real difference between the good quality ones. I see stainless steel and iodized and don’t know which is the better one. Can anyone help with this or recommend a good brand?

All clad , is the best alas $500 will get you no where with their products . Advise Costco Kirkland stainless steel set , no Teflon, unless you want to risk Cancer. They have a nice heavy clad bottom and look stylish, and you're not paying for advertisement hype. you also get a good assortment of pieces. You will need a 12 inch skillet (not in the kit) You can also check Emerilware made by All Clad but $500?????
