I imagine its only about as dangerous as eating from a pan cleaned with bleach or any of the other hundreds of caustic cleaning products around; but is is safe to eat from a brass cooking utensil (pot, pan) after cleaning it with Brasso (Ammonia & Hydrocarbon Brass Cleaning Product)?
After you have cleaned it with Brasso…wash itout with dish soap like you would any other dish or pot….just dry it off real good right after that.

Is it safe to use wet/dry sandpaper on the interior surfaces of cooking utensils?

I knew a 300 pound cook in the Navy back in the late 60's who would strain a can of Brasso through 4 slices of bread and drink it. Of course it would probably kill anyone else.

Make sure you rinse it out real good. You should have no problem.

Why would you want to clean the inside of a cooking pot with brasso. Brasso is used to clean brass and other ornaments to make them look pretty from the outside. If you want to clean the inside, then wash the pot out afterwards with plenty of soap and then rinse with plenty of water.
BRASSO contains the following chemicals, you decide!!
Petroleum Distillate (Stoddard Solvent), Silica Crystalline,
Ammonium Hydroxide
or else
Dont do it, whats the point
